Cookies & Tracking

Short version: ROOST uses cookieless analytics (Plausible) and an anonymous session-replay tool (Microsoft Clarity). We don't use advertising cookies. We don't sell or share data with advertisers. Browser local storage is used to keep your dashboard state on your device.

What we use

What we don't use

Advertising cookies of any kind.
Cross-site tracking pixels (Facebook, Google, etc.).
Third-party data brokers.
Retargeting tools.

Affiliate links

When you click an outbound link to a partner (Uswitch, Compare the Market, JustPark, etc.) you leave ROOST. The partner may set their own cookies on their own site according to their own cookie policy. We never share your data with those partners.

How to opt out

Plausible — there's nothing to opt out of; it's already anonymous.
Microsoft Clarity — you can opt out at privacy.microsoft.com/clarity, or use any browser tracking-protection setting.
Local storage — clear it via your browser settings any time. ROOST will reset to the homepage state.
All cookies — your browser settings can block all cookies if you prefer. ROOST will mostly still work, but session replays and feedback forms may not.

Changes

If we add new tools, this page will be updated and we'll let you know.
